Hey! So here is my IF Story,

I’m a retired Grade 3 IF Pilot. I started flying in around 2016, just after I bought my iPad Gen2, and I loved the game from the start.

My VO/VA story begins with BAVA, this was my first VA that I was a Pilot at and reached a mid-level ranking after a few months but then left due to future endeavors I wished to pursue.

Thanks to BAVA, I then joined IFATS (Infinite Flight Air Traffic Service) which held Virtual Air Traffic Control sessions, where I was an ATCS (Student Controller) for another few months, which unfortunately got shut down due to new legislation set by the VARB. I then helped my American Friend set up our own unverified VATC service called IFACARS. This went on for a couple of years but became inactive due to the lack of new members (as we weren’t allowed to advertise on IFC). With the knowledge I had gained over the years, I then joined Southwest Virtual as a Training Director. Unfortunately, by that point, after many arguments with the VARB regarding the VATC, etc, and the sheer cost of the subscription being too overpriced for me to purchase anymore, I lost interest and moved to Euro Truck and TruckersMP, where I am now an Examiner and a Human Resources member at the second biggest VTC called Prime Logistics. It was sad leaving the IF Community, but sometimes change is a good thing.
