Hello I’m João! Aviation has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. At just 15 years old, my passion for airplanes dates back to when I was 8. The fascination with the skies and the machines that conquer them inspired me to explore the world of aviation in depth.

In 2018, I discovered Infinite Flight, a platform that allowed me to immerse myself in aviation like never before. Over the years, I honed my skills and deepened my knowledge of flight operations and air traffic control. This dedication led me to join the prestigious IFATC team in the summer of 2024, where I currently hold the rank of Officer. This position enables me to control all frequencies, from ground to approach, which has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

My ultimate dream is to become a pilot, soaring through the skies and experiencing the world from above. However, my time in air traffic control has also opened my eyes to the equally exciting and vital role of managing the flow of aircraft. This has left me with a tough but exciting choice between two careers I love deeply.

Whether as a pilot or an air traffic controller, one thing is certain: my future will always revolve around the incredible world of aviation.
