Political scientist by formation, journalist by trade, aviation enthusiast by birth.
Spanish-Nepali half blood, grew up plane spotting in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International (VNKT) where I lived my childhood and from where I often flew into my home airport, Lukla’s notorious Tenzing-Hillary (VNLK.)
Then moved to my other home in Barcelona and regularly flew out of El Prat (LEBL), famous for its approach along the beach.
Now based in Bangkok, whose Suvarnabhumi Airport (VTBS) is among the world’s busiest and until 2013 had the tallest control tower in the world.
Hoping to hold a PPL one day.
