Heads up for anyone seriously into spotting, deck B is backlit for the vast majority of the day at this time of year (lighting is only good for sunrise-maybe 11) and even then you only get the first hour or so of 34 arrivals before they swap to a configuration that you can’t shoot from deck B (except the occasional 16 departure).
Could also consider heligrill, it’s a large, open expanse that is an easy meetup point and works for both 16/28 departures and is free (afternoon spot).

i think its amazing how you guys are engaging with the community and doing irl meet-ups i want to attend but i cannot as my parents would not like to fly zurich nor let me fly to zurich seperately😂

Yes, around 12-1 when the Swiss heavies head for the US, Asia, and India. But it’s backlit by then from B Deck so not really usable unless it’s cloudy.
