YYZ-TNA via YVR and PVG (Air Canada 787-9 and SDA 737-8)

Date: July 16, 2023
Time: 36 hours
Itinerary: YYZ-YVR-PVG-TNA

It was my first flight since Covid started. I arrived at YYZ terminal 1 at 4am preparing for the 6am flight to YVR. (I didn’t really try to take good photos, sorry)

Here is the 787-9, still in the old livery.

Cruising pics:

Got a shot of Penticton BC. Close to my hometown of Vernon!

A glimpse of YVR airport

The layover at YVR was only 2 hours but my next flight to PVG was early.

A shot of Granville island/Downtown Vancouver after takeoff:

Blurry picture of northern BC

I was so close to seeing Mount Fuji in Japan but the crew dimmed the shades of the dreamliner :frowning: but I got a shot of Osaka and Nagasaki!

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pics for the landing but I had a 10 hour layover at PVG and my flight to TNA was delayed by almost 4 hours! My final shot at TNA after the 36 hours trip:

Apologies for the underwhelming picture qualities. It was a long time ago. On my way home to Canada, I had the chance to ride the Cathay Pacific A350K and the CRH from TNA-SHA then PVG-HKG-YYZ. Perhaps I should create another trip report.
