During a recent event, I got reported for being unresponsive while climbing, descending, and maneuvering. Totally my fault the report came in from @astralis.
I decided to appeal it just in case, and to my surprise, it got approved! The report was removed as a courtesy. Huge shoutout to @kyle for handling it and giving me another shot

Two reports involving flying in a Flight of Two, one for failing to maintain separation and the other for not following the assigned speed, heading or altitude despite me not being the lead aircraft. Both got overturned.
I was flying the F/A-18. Tower was online, no Approach. I decided I would get out of Tower airspace as quickly as possible. I climbed like a rocket while skilfully avoiding other traffic but forgot about my speed. I got reported for “excessive speed”. It got overturned on the technicality that I was already outside of Tower’s airspace and only marginally over the limit.
Omg where do I begin lol. 3 out of the five violations I got because I mistaked “line up and wait” for cleared for takeoff lol. The 2 others were “Unresponsive during climbing or descend” aka I didn’t know that you had to read back the command after the controller asks you to descend. After my last vio I sent a very long from the heartfelt letter to appeals begging them to remove it. Alas I made do with training and after an entire year I will now be a better and more professional pilot
I don’t have many stories to share since I don’t ever get violations but I have one from a few years ago. I know typically you can’t appeal level 1 violations but I was flying fro New York to London and with autopilot on I didn’t touch it my plane somehow left autopilot and it went below 10,000 resulting in a level 1 overspeed vio. I appealed it because I believed it was a glitch and luckily the appeals team believed that too and it got removed. I always watch my ascend and descent very carefully now.
Well when Dubai DXB had the KUVA and DVA Connection event I tried to get into Dubai Following the the instructions then all of a sudden he told me turn left for the runway 30L then I was going to do it then I accidentally turned right then I turned the HDG to the left side then I got disconnected
Then second chance I went from Muscat then when I was going straight in, the controller told that I’m on the wrong runway which I was not which I was going to land 30L then he kept on telling me I’m on the wrong runway when I was on 30L then I got a level two violation for nothing
Then I did from Doha and then when I arrive there it was smooth I landed there finally
I don’t know if this counts but here is my rather unusual but fairly irritating story.
I forgot the exact details but it was during one of those Flash flights from I think RKSS to RKPC where I received my first ever violation since joining. I was there waiting in line for takeoff for at least 40 minutes and when it was almost my turn to takeoff, this person in front of me suddenly glitched back right in front of me and I rear ended their tail section as I was unable to stop in time.
Tried to make things right and push back and then boom, a big violation text appeared on my screen and I was disconnected for “taxiing through others.” Another unlucky thing was that the person I rear ended was an IFATC user who was the one who gave me that vio.
Thankfully by staying calm and not rage, the decision was overturned and if I’m correct, it was you Daeng-E who helped me get out of that pickle.
Ever since that incident, I became even more cautious when I am at a highly congested airport and here I am still flying towards Grade 5 without a single violation (1,2 or 3) on my belt.
Yeah, that was a connection issue the airplane blinked out for a second, so it might’ve looked like you was taxiing through others, but I wasn’t. Just a little network hiccup
I think I was almost reported while flying into DCA, i did a weird turn on 19 base bc there was a plane going to ADW that I thought was going to DCA bc I was unfarmiliar with the approach.
