At the college I’m at, they’ve just added NCEA for aviation. It’s right next to an airport, which is convenient. The college provides the flight lessons so I’ll be starting that this year!

I have not. What I can tell you is the trainer is more important not the aircraft. All the things you will learn from your FAA test is not about what the aircraft is but what your instructor has taught you. You will not learn anything from the aircraft without a trainer. I started last year (14) so I am at your age :)
