Since this game does nothing about lights Landing lights in the game are best used as Taxi lights
If you are flying an a320 or the 737, you would turn on the taxi lights as a reminder. Learned that from a pilot on youtube - A330Driver.
It can be, again depends on the airline. The SOP I wrote above is my own operator’s. That’s what we do, but everyone definitely has their own way
