Your First Airport - Video Tutorials

Hello everyone! You all know me as Kat around these parts and it is a pleasure to have all the new scenery editors on board with us in the recent few months.

I’ve decided to work on a video tutorial series myself showcasing how editing is done and how all editors should strive to meet the standards given to us. These videos will also give you all a little bit of an insight on how I as an individual with 5+ years of experience edit.

My Released Airports: VVBM, VVVD, VVPB, VVVH, VVDN, CYEG, YPPH, KMEM, VVNB

This topic contains a 2 parts video series showcasing your average first airport and how you should start off tackling editing.

In future series, I will be tackling more concepts such as the variety of other lines, jetbridges, and much more complicated buildings.

You might run into some low audio in these videos, this will be improved for the next ones.

Thank you so much, @Kat.

I started IFAET a few weeks ago and got my first small airport.

I was so lost on how everything works. I read through the manual, which helped me a bit, but not enough for me, at least. And I gave up; I haven’t continued editing my airport for weeks.

But since I came across this thread, I got my confidence back. Now I have a visual demonstration of how to start. Thank you so much. After weeks of not editing, I can continue with this new insight on how I should be doing it.
