The majority of the company is owned by executives in the US

US Airlines tend not to have a good reputation.

jetBlue and Virgin America are the only exceptions

Virgin America is ranked 26th in the World’s Top 100 Airlines (2015) - that’s higher than any of the airlines in this “leisure” poll! :)

I flew with SunExpress and it was horible. Old planes and unfriendly crew. But my flight back to Germany was in an 737-800 prototype (now TC-SNY).
