Hey, IFC!
About a month ago… or a week… or this morning… IDK time is too slow these days.
Anyways I went on a plane again.
Yes.
Again.
It was a very small plane, an ultralight, in fact.
At first i saw ultralights as a little gimmick but i have flown a couple of times on them and they are actually really fun, they almost make me want to fly ultralights now :)
Anyways here are some pics and a little bit of narration!
The arrival of the plen in question coming to pick me up. You see nothing after the hedge… that’s because after the runway, it’s a 300 foot drop :))
Your average french village 1
Your average french village 2
Your average french church with your average french decomposing bodies
Your average french Omaha war memorials and NO i do NOT mean omaha as in the city in Nebraska >:( too many people have asked already no I am not in NEBRASKA
(Thank goodness)
Your average french cliff and your average french salt flats
And last but not least, your average french sand yachts.
If anyone here enjoys sand yachting as well, please DM me :)
So here is a quick summary of the flight:
Took off from the tiny cliff airstrip and flew along the coast up to an average french village where I stuck my camera out the window and the lens got rained on.
Then, I flew a bit above some average french countryside before doing a low 360 above my house and then continuing over to the salt flats. Finally, a quick hop along Omaha beach, in (almost) formation with a DR400 and it’s time to land on the strip again.
Thank you for reading and looking!
Robertine
PS. Anyone here live in France by any chance?
