You seriously can’t watch replays involving Pro Aircraft/Airports once your subscription expires?

I canceled my monthly Pro subscription a couple of days ago and it expired today. I wanted to watch a replay but saw that it was grayed out, along with most of my other replays.

What’s the reason behind not being able to watch replays without Pro? This seems really greedy to me.

I have to say that I’ve not been impressed with this game lately.

Seems to be the case with quite a few people, but IF does need to make money some how and it can be difficult, idk why it won’t let you watch the replays from when you had pro, but hopefully they can make that a thing lol

Actually I beleve this is an engineering issue, where they have to code the game in a way so that the aircraft is not existent for pro players, which sadly makes it not possible for the reply to play. I wouldnt say its something they planned, but something that happened as a result, as having a weird code like ‘plane not available to non pro except in this way’ may be extremely prone to bugs and exploits, bringing more negatives than positives.
Please don’t get upset and say things like this, its just silly and disrespectful considering all the other things developers have going on

This is actually the reason. Unfortunately, it’s a side effect of how the replay system works. When viewing a replay, the app actually considers it as a normal flight/ATC session. The only real difference is that it reenacts parameters that were recorded for the specific session. This “issue” was even considered a bug initially during the Beta phase when the replay was first introduced.

Our hopes are to be able to improve on this, but it would require some fundamental code changes that we’re not quite ready for yet.

I was a subscriber for 1 month in 2021 May, and still can play those replays.
I think, it is some bugs/coding issue

Yeah I can still view all of my replays from the pro time and they’re grey’d out. Maybe works for some not for others I guess.

I don’t know, when I cancelled my subscription the replays were still there, but only when you delete the app they are gone but they will be back once you subscribe again. If you did not delete the app, maybe it was just a bug.
