If I connect a yoke to infinite flight through USB for type C, does the game work with the yoke?

Unfortunately connecting your yoke directly to IF will not work. For iOS, you’d need to download LiveFlightConnect from the AppStore. What this app does, is it basically transmits the imputs you make on your joystick, via wifi to your iPad/iPhone.

The second way is, you could get a raspberry pi and install the software that Thomas kindly linked above. However, that is a much more complicated and expensive process.

This is not true for all devices. Some android tablets and phones have USB power delivery which allows them to work with wired devices. Compatibility is a bit hit and miss, some phones or tablets from the last 3 years should have the compatibility, otherwise LiveFlight is always your best bet.

But I can’t use the yoke that I have on android because I have a samsung S8.
Do you have access to a desktop computer or laptop at all? It’s available on either Windows or MacOS.
Otherwise as I suggested you can connect it directly to your device using an OTG connector or wirelessly if you can get a wireless joystick.
