I’m out right now and don’t have my tablet, so I can’t see the interface, I’ll do it when I get back, around 30mins
Probably 25
So when I spawn in a airport I try and move the yoke around but it’s frozen. I have deleted the app then reinstall it numerous times but still it doesn’t move.
Real silly question here, and I hope I do not offend, but you aren’t trying to fly with the on-screen yoke that appears in the bottom margin of the screen, are you? You said no to the accelerometer question and that IS what you fly with if you don’t have an external yoke or joystick.
Another thing you can try is to go to the settings page and select controls. Turn your device left and right and fore and aft and you should see movement on the axis indicators. They should also be labeled as accelerometers.
I’m flying with the yoke in the bottom margin yes.
Ah, might be getting somewhere here! That’s good.
Really, the small yoke in the bottom margin is just an indicator of what the accelerometers in your device are doing. Pitch and roll indicators only, not controls.
Try the settings-controls screen I mentioned and move the device around physically and see if the indicators move along with your movement. That will tell you if the acellerometers are indeed working.
Also, since you see the yoke in the bottom margin, that too can show you what the accelerometers are doing. Twist your device side to side like a steering wheel and the on-screen yoke should move along with it. If you tilt your device towards you and away from you the on-screen yoke should get larger and smaller. Those movements are what controls the virtual yoke in IF.
My accelerometer must he broke. It’s weird because it was working last night
What device and Software Version?
You need to give the devs this information.
I’ll make a bet, it’s not Apple.
I know what to do,
Go to controls-> Roll (then proceed to turn your device to the left and right)
Then go to Pitch, and point your device to the ground and back to the sky.
Oh I get it…if you used a joystick before or deleted to use the iPad’s “rotation device” it will not work…
