Working Jetways

I know that there is the 3D buildings request, but as far as I can tell, that request doesn’t involve the jetways. Only the buildings. So, I figured I would make this request be as an add-on to the 3D buildings one. Once we get 3D buildings, to also have working jetways.

It’s already hard enough for buildings so I don’t think jetways are any easier they’re probably harder because they move

Well, like with the 3D buildings, there could be an option in the settings to have the jetways or not to have them. I do understand that not everyone has the latest and greatest with tablets or phones. So, it would make sense to have the ability to turn it off and on.

I don’t know… 3D buildings seem very far-fetched, period. Also, the 3D buildings request does include jetties

Calm down… FDS does indeed have 3D Buildings in their “roadmap”. They are trying to find a suitable program to use for these 3D Buildings.

We don’t know how far down in the roadmap that is though.

Although I doubt that Jetways would be included (too much technical stuff)… I would absolutely love to see Jetways in the future of IF

I have a feeling that if the devs added 3D buildings, they probably would put in jetways.

I agree we need ground crew, buildings and working jetways. We’re being trampled by FSX

The only way to compete with FSX is to go to a desktop platform. Granted, the FSX desktop product is amazing. But, they’re mobile game is crap!

But if IF could get buildings on a mobile device
that looks good, It could rule the world
(The fight sim world that is)

FSX has a mobile game? Or is that in reference to mobile sims in general? Because I would say especially the big ones like IF, and XPlane 10 mobile are really squeezing out what they can…
