Without warnings

I’m creating this topic because something has to be done about too many ATCs are too quick to give out violations, and too many without warnings. Also… at times aircraft’s sometime may disappear while taxiing. With different versions, Alpha, Beta and the RTM sometimes there may be glitches. Sometimes planes disappear while taxiing and two aircrafts end up in the same spot and get a violation for something that not in the pilot’s control. It just happened to me with no warning.

There are also internet issues at times. Everyone doesn’t have high speed internet. It may go out at times. Pilots should not get violations for when the connection is interrupted.

Also… again, a main reason something has to be done is the ATCs are too trigger happy to give violations WITHOUT WARNINGS. There are warnings to give to pilots but not being used by the ATCs. I’ve been flying on I.F. for about 15 years and I’m seeing it get worse with violations being issued without warnings. I just got a violation for something out of my control without a warning. This is the 3rd time this happened, I don’t even appeal anymore. Now I’m a grade 4 for a year. I kinda take a lil pride in being a grade 5.

With this happening, it makes it unpleasant, my opinion… now, to fly on I.F. and put me in a space of not flying no more cause now all I’m worrying about is getting violations for things that are out of my control, when all I do is pay attention and always obey the ATCs instructions, always. I’m not perfect but I try my best to be an example, to be that expert pilot on the expert server and fairness should happen as well! Being an Alpha tester, beta tester, Airport editor, I’m not trying to mess that up or the great relationship I’ve built over the years with the staff. The are GREAT AND EXCELLENT ATCs, no question but lately there are too many that have been dropping the ball. It’s not fun to fly anymore, my opinion. I just believe something had to be said.

You must appeal every violation, gotta keep them in check especially the rookies

What are said violations?
I’m not disagreeing with you, I just want to know what’s out of your control.

Idk man ive witnessed ATC being way too lenient. Them being strict is what we need.

If its internet issues you can just appeal it.

The issue is that it’s very difficult to prove an internet issue. Anyone could say that and get out of a violation.

True but if they spawn back in isnt that proof? If they just disconnect and dont return theres no chance to give a violation.

Idk maybe im just daft lol

“Im just daft”?? What does that mean, Daft?

Doesn’t matter to appeal anymore to me… why? Example, about what I was pointing out. An aircraft disappeared, live, in but in the replay, the aircraft is there. Appeals will always go with the replay. And in some cases in Alpha, which I was on… there have been some bugs with replay. So it turns in a “he say/she say” with appeals. But that’s not the issue. The tittle of this topic is “Without warnings” from ATCs, not appeals.

Daft is another way to say foolish

Why do they even give violations in alpha? That seems odd

It just happened to me… and I was on Alpha. Doesn’t matter… no warning was issued

I understand what you’re saying about the warnings, but for a connection issue what would they give a warning for?

When a plane shows back up from connection issues and you or them taxi thru planes and get a violation. Warnings should be given before a violation is given

Regarding pre-violation warnings, trust me, we have no explicit mandatory requirements, but oversight is still enforced.

If you enter the runway without clearance, I’ll tell you to check the user manual when there is no traffic on final. If there are aircraft on final, I will issue a Level 3 violation directly.

If you are instructed to line up and wait but keep holding in position, I will give two warnings before issuing a violation. Only one warning will be given at highly busy airports.

When I was controlling at a busy airport before, I issued a violation straight away to a pilot for non-compliance because he not do LUAW. A member of the appeal team told me: Mate, there’s no need to be that harsh.

As I said, if you feel that you need to get a violation after being warned, contact the appeal team to ask and let them have a look. It’s not a bad thing and it’s easy to do.

All controllers are obligated to provide explanations, clarifications and feedback when questioned by reported users. Directly reaching out to the controller is also a good approach.

A warning will not accomplish anything, but a violation should also not be given if theres a connection issue.

Sadly there is no way for atc to tell in the moment so we just have to work with these issues. The best thing to do if a plane disconnects in front of you is to do nothing and wait for atc instructions.

I believe that the appeal will be approved because of the violations caused by the Internet.

ATC also need to start sending check manual command for no flight following after check in, request of pattern work for departures, vectors for anything that’s outside the airspace.

For us decent pilots… warnings are effective. I’m not talking about the fools on the expect server. The pilots who paying attention and obey get violations without warnings as well. There are topics of that on here.
