Wings Over North Georgia Part 1

On October 31st, 2021, I went to the 2021 Wings Over North Georgia Airshow, my first airshow ever and my first ever sight of the Blue Angels. This was one of the first airshows with the brand new F/A-18 E/F Super Hornets, a beautiful aircraft. It was a cold day, but the sun shined through right at the end! Enjoy these photos!!
Sorry for the photos being a little dark. It is easier to edit this way

Three F/A-18 E/Fs Super Hornets turn on smoke while on the ground, allowing me to get this amazing shot!

Flight Leader Captain Brian C. Kesselring in F/A-18 #1 taxiing out to the runway.

Right wing Lieutenant Commander James Haley in F/A-18 #2 follows closely behind.

Following James Haley is left wing Major Frank Zastoupil in F/A-18 #3.

Pulling out is #4 Lieutenant Commander James Cox as slot.

Now, the two free fliers, Commander Ben Walborn in F/A-18 #5,

Followed behind by #6 Lieutenant Commander Cary Rickoff, a Georgian native.

Commander Ben Walborn in F/A-18 #5 does a tight, high-G bank to the left, kicking in those afterburners.

F/A-18s #1-5 pass-by, letting out smoke in a neat line across the runway.

All six Super Hornets get together in the iconic Delta Formation.

Part 2 will be coming up either later today or tomorrow, so be on the lookout!!
