Flying this route was a blast, as it’s a reinaugural owing to the Middle East crisis back in 2023; I was quite pleased to fly it. It made its actual reappearance on November 1st, 2025, linking Chicago (ORD) and Tel Aviv (TLV). United is also debuting service from Washington (IAD) to Tel Aviv (TLV) today, November 2nd, 2025.

(This route is operated by the 787-8 but IF sadly doesn’t have a United livery.)

yeah it is, they are pretty back to normal there they are just missing SFO - TLV which hasnt been mentioned in their comeback

I still remember when the UAE and Israel signed a treaty for flights between each other, hope they go back to it once the conflict dulls down.

I remember flying on this route back when i was little when I still lived in LA. I remember on the flight up we were on a united 737-700 and this was around the time of the max crashes. I was so little that I didn’t realize the diference. I was freaking out the whole flight lol. I remember asking why we weren’t dead lol.

Yes. Especially when I was young everything felt longer. In a month I’m flying TLV-lax direct on el al so I’m cooked. 15 hours
