Other than if there being lots of aircraft on live flying the same direction, you cannot get a sense for whether there is a headwind or tailwind before you fly. This can be a pain for fuel planning, especially during long-haul from Europe to the USA etc.
A feature showing wind forecasts would be very useful.
I see such a feature has not been set as a topic since March 2017, which thereafter IF has come a very long way.
