Will the NEO be made like the MAX?

Hey all, so around a week or two ago, I made a topic asking if the MAX will be made from scratch or will it use parts of the existing 737, and later I found out that the 737 NG model was being used for the 737 MAX.

So, my question here is that will the Neo be made using the existing A320? As the enitr A320 model is from 2015 and isn’t particularly the highest quality.

And if the answer is yes, will the winglet inaccuracy be fixed? As it is far too pushed back in-game

This isn’t quite true. The MAX Model has been built from scratch. Some parts might have been used / inspired from the old model, but as far as I’m aware it’s a brand new model.

If I had to guess, I would say the A320neo will also be a new model, since Infinite Flight always try to deliver the best quality as possible. We’ll just have to wait and see once they start with modelling process. Best thing to do is to keep an eye on social media posts and announcements either here or on the Infinite Flight Discord.

The 737 MAX used the fuselage of the existing 737.

I hope so.

Turns out the baseline of the MAX model was the -800. So I would guess the same might be done with Neo. but let’s see closer to the time.

Also in a livestream they did say that they would be using the 737NG fuselage as Boeing didn’t change the design of the 737 nose on the 737 MAX. (And models from scratch use more money and time, which many people don’t like)

But yeah, time will tell for the 320neo.
