Even though this will take time to even get there, which is for me to fly an aircraft for the first time in my life, I’m joining Air Force active duty next June, thanks for the medical team giving final clearance just last week, and I anticipate starting my flight training by winter or spring 2021. I hope to fly the F-16 or F-35 by 2022!
My passion for aircraft and outer space is limitless. Joining the Air Force is something I always wanted to achieve; I can’t wait!
I actually saw a few of the flying in formation a bit ago getting ready for a sports flyover, fighters aren’ta common thing in Pittsburgh, so it was pretty cool…
( hope thats correct, flew the LH600/LH601 quiet often to IKA, our most challenging approach on the 747 and we were the only ones that had to De-ice - during summer with temperatures of 25 degrees celsius in the night )
As you are joining the air force i have a question you might be able to answer: What is the exact purpose of these green lights ? i just saw them also on a KC-46 tanker, he had 3 of these green lights on the right side of vertical stabilizer and 2 or 3 on right side of the fuselage ( couldn’t see the left side ):
