Today I did a flight from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Toncontín International Airport. The approach was very interesting and wild with extreme turns and lots of terrain.
Flight Time: 2:26
Aircraft: Boeing 737-700
Callsign: United 2467
Departing Houston with 15 knot crosswind
Flying over Southern Texas Coast
Cruising at FL410 over the Gulf of Mexico with the moon visible
Cruising over the Western area of the Caribbean Sea
Approaching the Central American Coast
Beginning our descent into Toncontín
Put in a holding pattern due to heavy traffic in Toncontín
Airport in sight!!
Turned too early on final and approached the runway at a very bad angle and should’ve went around but I decided not to
Still managed to land safely
Parking at gate!!!
Thank you to all that view these photos and let me know what you think of them!
