Wide body Aircraft at Dublin Airport

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by.

On the 19th of July international travel finally opened back up in Ireland. Meaning Dublin Airport is finally getting back to its usual level of traffic for the first time in over a year. Of course I couldn’t miss an opportunity like that, and had to go up and see it for myself

First we got 2 Aer Lingus A333s, both in the new and old livery. Reg of first aircraft: EI-EIN
Reg of second aircraft: EI-DUZ

Next we got an Etihad 789 departing for Abu Dhabi. Reg: A6-BNA

After being delayed around 50 minutes, an American Airlines 788 finally lined up on runway 28 and took off for Chicago. Reg: N815AA

Last but not least. Emirates 777-300ER, lifting off of runway 28 on its way to Dubai. Reg: A6-ENX

That’s all for today, hope you all liked my shots. Also, here’s a funny/annoying picture I got. While taking shots of the Etihad 789 a bus passed by and the advertisement on it could just be the most ironic thing I’ve ever witnessed 😂😂

Definitely not an unpopular opinion, I think I speak for most Irish aviation enthusiasts when I say the green livery is definitely better then the new one. That’s not to say the new one is bad, I actually quite like it.
