Why you preflight thoroughly

A good thorough preflight is recommended before flying any aircraft first part of the day. This allows you to see if the aircraft is air worthy or not. When I preflight I take my time (typically 20 - 30 minutes for the airframes, 40 - 50 for newer aircraft), Well sometimes Preflights can bring some really fun moments, a friend of mine was preflighting his Airbus H125 (AS350) AStar and noticed this upon his preflight. MX had forgotten about these. I guess Zipties are the new Speed tape!

You do a preflight so you don’t forget the T in the title.

If it can’t be fixed with duct tape or zip ties, dash it in the bin
