Why was Manchester not included in UK region?

Manchester very well could have been implemented in the UK region early in development. I kind of wonder why they didn’t take that chance. I guess now it doesn’t matter since we’re getting Global but it does raise question.
If they had moved the region slightly northwest, it would fit.

I always thought it was a shame they did not put Manchester airport in the region when you consider the size and the number of movements it has. But yes when we get global better late than never. R

I call it UK because it has Birmingham. Then again, it would be more proper to say England. So England region.

I agree because there is quite a big distant between Birmingham and London and it is a equal distance from Bristol so it would have made sense to have added a few more like Bristol and perhaps other ones within a similar distance but with global flight hopefully we get more of the airport we love

It’s good to discuss all these things now because there won’t be any boundaries soon! (Except going to space, right @AR_AR?) Sorry for going a little off topic :-)
