I know a lot of people like me is asking why the TBM is added, I think it’s just for the diversity of airplanes and for GA fans. But my important question is Why is the A-10 reworked?? I prefer a Q-400 rework, saying I’m a WideBody fan. The TBM I understand it, but I think the Military Fans are too little to rework that airplane. I think the rework itself it’s cool, but first a GA aircraft is added (I understand) but now a Military Aircraft is reworked?! If the TBM was added for diversity, I would add or rework an Airliner before reworking a Military Aircraft, as the 70% of people playing Infinite Flight is an Airliner fan. It’s just my opinion. Tell me your opinion.

I understand your point but I think the developers are wanting to make a diverse selection of airplanes so everyone can fly something they like! I am also looking forward for the A-10 rework!

I said that the A-10 rework is cool, but if the IF community is 70% Airliner fans, they should have this in mind at the time of deciding which airplane add or rework

The statistics show that but it does makes sense why they are adding and reworking aircraft that are not commercial.

I think adding a GA or a Military Aircraft (or rework) sometimes is cool, but they should be like GA Aircraft, Airliner, Military Aircraft, Airliner, etc.

Well the developers add other planes besides commercial aircraft so the people flying the commercial planes can fly something else.
I’m not saying I’m not going to use the A-10 or the TBM, I will use them, but just a bit.
The folks at Infinite Flight have their own set of priorities, including diversity of aircraft in thebsim. Right now we have a number of high-quality airliners (787, MD-11, DC-10, A320 family, CRJs), and only two nice military aircraft (the C-130 and KC-10), neither of which are fighters. Adding the A-10 opens a new type of flight.

Airliners get a whole lot of love and attention as-is, and obviously that will likely continue. I’m excited to see the A-10 rework and I’m confident that the military fans are as well. I’m willing to wager that airliner fans have plenty to look forward to in the future, no worries. A diverse fleet makes IF more versatile and attractive to a wider customer base.

My goodness these topics are getting old. How many is this today 5? If you don’t like what was added don’t fly it! It’s honestley that simple. Sitting here whining about it is doing nothing of any kind.

This is a rather straightforward answer. The A10 is one of the older aircraft in the Infinite Flight fleet. Old physics, and lower quality graphics when compared to newer aircraft such as the TBM, 787, C130, and the Dash 8-Q400 for the matter of your post. The Q400 doesn’t need a rework in my opinion for an aircraft that is 2 years old. Flies just fine. Graphics and textures are great, animations are solid.
The military and GA fleet that we have right now makes up way less in total when compared to the wide bodies, narrow bodies combined. So if you ask me, I’ll continue to argue that we need more GA’s and more reworked military aircraft such as the C17, F18, and F14. Add other features that were included in Infinite Flight pre-global such as terrain on ATC & Pilots maps as well before Infinite Flight LLC touches any other airliner. Just my opinion, but I think its a fair statement that the developers have their minds on the right track when it comes to choosing what aircraft to work on next. 🙂

Why tho? If some airliner needs a reworks, it definitely is the 757/767 and a330/a340

Maybe it is because they coughed up their $70/year and want to be heard. You know, free speech.
There are lots of aircraft in IF that needs updates, many of them have been named (757, 767, A340, A330, etc.) But the sim could also use more diversity, myself, I’m a GA and commercial guy, do I care for the A-10, not really, do I understand why they are doing it, yes. The one aircraft I feel like really needs an update is the default aircraft, the most popular GA aircraft, the Cessna 172 skyhawk. It is probably the oldest, if not, one of the oldest aircraft in IF, and could desperately use a rework to include more liveries.
