Why this happens to the flight plans

I was trying to do a Flight from Amsterdam to Seattle and i was doing the flight plan with this route

BERGI L602 AMGOD L602 SUPUR P1 GIGUL N44 UPNAL SOSAR 670000N/0100000W 710000N/0200000W 740000N/0400000W 740000N/0600000W DAPAK 723000N/0800000W 703000N/0900000W 680000N/1000000W 650000N/1070000W 630000N/1100000W 600000N/1140000W 560000N/1200000W 550000N/1210000W YVR YYJ JAWBN6

And i was doing it the map puts me The waypoints other places like Antarctica it was a mess And I thought I typed it wrong and i didn’t the thing is those waypoints are not in IF map and why this happened?

Yeah, that is the worst part of flying very north in the game as those waypoints do not exist in the game.

True That’s a Problem that IF needs to fix uk

These aren’t waypoints. It’s just coordinates, but in a different system than what we use hence they’re messed up.
See this for reference;

Also, sometimes the 3rd party flight planners mess up a bit. For example, on a flight from Atlanta to New York, I was given a waypoint in South Africa.

If you’re using Simbrief you can go to the flight plan download section and copy the XML file (it should be something like [DEPART ICAO][ARRIVAL ICAO][NUMBERS].xml). Take that and put it into the “Simbrief Classic” section on fpltoif.com and it should auto convert.

It’s the worst.

I use fpltoif. It converts waypoints that aren’t in infinite flight to coordinates.

Oh ok thanks can u send me pictures how to do it lol

There can also be multiple waypoints with the same name, just have to search up the waypoint name and find the correct one.

IF Flightplan Tools (if-flightplan-tools.vercel.app)
Ads time
An FPL file will be ready with a few clicks, saving much time and effort

Will it ever be possible to just put in a waypoint coordinate in IF instead of having down load it?

You can already, it uses a different format for the coordinates than simbrief though.

Oh that would explain alot lol

I remember once an approach in South Africa led all the way to Samoa. But that was an internal IF issue.
