Why my iPad Air 2 drops me out even when I do short flight from Narita to Seattle on 777?

I have 3gb of free memory on my iPad. Always clean cache. But simulator still drops me out even I fly from Narita to Seattle or from Bole (HAAB) to Seattle. How that can be and what I shall do to prevent this? That’s ridiculous and I’m not talking about how often simulators drops me out when I use a380…. I’m tired….Please help me Community..

Hey there!

The iPad Air 2 has 2GB of RAM, which is below the minimum specifications for Infinite Flight - which is 3GB, it would explain why the app is crashing a lot (particularly while using a high-detail aircraft such as the A380 and on long haul flights).

I would recommend looking into purchasing a more capable device within Infinite Flight’s requirements. I apologise if that’s not the answer you were hoping for - I know that needing to upgrade devices is not an ideal situation, but in this case it’s really the only solution.

The iPad Air 2 being over 10 years old at this point, its simply too old hardware-wise to handle modern games to really any sort of reasonable capacity.

You might be able to get away with flying on solo, with older aircraft and minimum graphics, but as already said your best option is to upgrade.

It drops me out even I use 777, Man… 777 is not difficult one plane I think.. Talking about new devices maybe this summer I will buy iPad 9 is it good and I see positive difference when use iPad Air 2?

The iPad 9th Gen is ok - its around 4 years old on its hardware so probably wouldn’t be able to handle the highest settings but you would almost certainly notice an improvement over the Air 2.

Actually, the 777 is a quite detailed plane. I think the best plane you COULD use might be a 737-700 or something like that at the moment

Medium settings will be enough for me at this case. Is it good enough to fly with medium settings in our simulator using iPad 9? Aand I will also can fly a380 almost without problems using this tab?

I use a 9th gen iPad, I can fly short haul flights with high settings and 30fps, but lower the settings for long hauls.

From now what can I do having iPad Air 2 to fly successfully? Which type of graphic settings I must fix to normally fly 777 in my case?
Only use 737MAX I can use medium graphic settings to fly or a350 or a330 I say nothing about this models but they feels perfect.
This night I fly on it to Dubai and flight simulator not crash… I mean if you know cool realistic routes for this plane (737MAX) write to me here few please) I’m very tired for this flight sim crashes for real…
