Yes. It is very big when you’re over 10000ft that is my own opinion
Alright Lewis, let’s do this. When you land, send us your replay with sharemyinfiniteflight.com, I’ll take a look at it, and we can go from there.
@Fung_Sum-sum I can guarantee that the angle of the turn isn’t the issue here.
Either way - the solution is to go into your flight plan, hit the next waypoint after BRICK and say ‘Activate Leg.’ That should bring the aircraft back on course wherever or whenever you need it to be.
That’s still very strange that it wandered off all by itself though…
Maybe it caused because of the heavy headwind?
how do i do this ?
14kt winds shouldn’t be a factor in this situation
After you land, go into your replays and select the one you want. Follow these steps:
- Download/export your replay from Infinite Flight. For help, a tutorial can be found here.
- Upload the replay file on www.sharemyinfiniteflight.com
- Fill out the details and options.
- Submit!
- Share the link as needed.
Check out the sharemyinfiniteflight section in this tutorial.
confused how to do it
idk how to do it
Please read the tutorial I linked, it has all the information you need :)
Putting your link for your replay here to keep it in one place since you may made a separate topic for it @lewis_ryan
So by looking at your replay and going through the states tab, I see you had all of your autopilot functions in the correct way. That leads me to believe it was a mishap in your flight plan. At this point when you were turning when you weren’t supposed to, were you on a generated flight plan? Seems where you turned off your flight plan it was a coordinate and not a fix. Thinking you also may for whatever reason have a duplicate or close waypoints in one area.
Hmmm, that’s strange. Even though LNAV is on and the source is set to GPS, the plane seems to want to fly circles around that one leg, before BRICKS, and deviates from the flight plan.
I got my flight plan from fpltoif
This may be a factor. Would you possibly mind sending me over the FPL you used to see if I can reproduce this?
how would i do this ?
there was a few waypoints all over the place but i deleted all of them ones
Ok that’s important info. That could of been an issue where you forgot one waypoint to delete. I’ll see if I can delete them when you send it over to see if it does what it did on your end.
So go to where you got your flight plan → copy and paste the entirety of the flight plan → paste it here
