Powered by two engines each producing over 11,000 horse powers, crewed by five members the MI 26 is the largest helicopter in production. It has a mass takeoff weight of 120 thousand lbs this thing is a BEAST. Recently Utair’s MI-26 was contracted today Sling load a an-74 to the plehanovo airport and then tu-134 to roschino airport in tulle. There planes will take honorary places of legends of domestic aviation in Russia.

Not really true. Mozhayskiy did perform a “powered takeoff” but did not produce an aircraft capable of flying under its own power. He did a lot for flight, but in no way beat the wright brothers…

MaxSez. @Chatta290. My old cyber friend your entitled to your opinion but I believe it’s flawed. I’m apolitical but biased, my 31 year of service in uniform reinforces this point. “Praise” used here is an oxymoron. Emphasis on “moron”. As for the Bus, the flying computer.
