Did you ever wonder about this?
I don’t know if irl are this is the scenario but, I think they are too dull.
Did you ever wonder about this?
Sometimes that happens IRL, depending on the plane I believe. Most planes have the Nav Lights at the same brightness as the taxiway
I didn’t saw that in if cause a B77W just gone in front of me at NWWW and just cause the strobes were on I was able to see it, the nav lights didn’t did its work. Also I noticed when I was cruising my plane didn’t have bright nav lights, so a bit disappointed.
It depends on each plane; on the A350, the lights are brighter than on other planes. I hope Infinite Flight Dev will make the lights brighter on each plane.
I will try A350 then. Hope to get some beautiful shots.
Well not really….
This is an example of the nav light of a 777-300ER, and the taxi lights.
The navigation lights will never have the same brightness as the taxi lights
That’s not the NAV light, that’s the wing light :)
My apologies for not being clear. In IF, they are from the same button.
But still, the navigation light is way brighter than taxiway lights
There are no wing lights in IF, those would be Strobe Lights. NAV lights IRL are much dimmer than taxiway lights from what I have seen.
I think we all messed up, the lights that @Raceking said, is taxiway center light, right?
Am I color hue blind?
Look here the red light on wing is nav light and the taxiway light that are on airport ofcourse they will be bright irl
It looks like a flight simulator with highest graphics possible and the plane dividing the scene above it and below it(the white light). I did not like that white light, so bright from observer POV.
I don’t know. But it obviously is not the same
The world is a hellish place and Google Translate is destroying the quality of our suffering.
Which makes me think what material do they use for the light covers.
If you’re referring to the green taxiway centerline lights, those are usually dimmer than the taxiway edge lights. They’re brighter if you’re looking at the head on than from the side, this would be a feature of “dynamic lighting” though which is not currently a feature in IF. These are the most common type of taxiway centerline light, it’s so pilot not using the taxiway from a different angle are not confused with complex taxiways.
As for the picture, I took it at ZRH in March, it’s a long exposure and therefore everything becomes brighter than a normal photo.
I think in the picture off the triple 777 they pointed out the white backwards facing wing lights, not strobes. Airbus dont really have this in there wing designs so you have to look towards boeing for them
