Why do you like IF so much?

Hello

If you’re on this forum, you probably like IF. So my question is why? Is it because of the realism, the portability or just the amazing community 😉 . For me, it’s the portability. Definitely.

I find the easy access the best, so I can play on the train home or in a taxi

The community, portability, the Airbus A320 family and the Boeing 777-787-747 family(ies)

same here…however after Global update it looks like we wont have that option so easily as will need a WiFi network to stream the scenery.

I love the realism and also the portability. IN the evenings I can use this whilst sitting down in the living room rather than having to be up in my study on a big PC. Also as I travel a lot for work its great to have a flight Sim that I can use anywhere!!

Lol, couldn’t you just stick to regions

The community and ease of online play. There are more realistic simulations for the mobile market, but none have the online option smoothed out like IF does

For me it would be the mobility. Also unlike other mobile apps I have found a constant quest on behalf of the development team to improve, update, and even reach out to the community for opinions and actually use the information that we provide. Respect.

I think live. It makes the sim so much better

Exactly! X-Plane and Aerofly rarely give updates on anything, and can even go months without any sort of indication on what’s planned, what’s coming next, etc. The Infinite Flight team are always keeping the community up to date, which really sets them apart from the rest. Not to mention the great graphics, and overall better quality of what you’re paying for.

I like it because it has all the features of a PC simulator, yet it’s not as crowded, not nearly as expensive and the community feels like a family. Also there’s no way I could afford some balderdash like FSX so this is a great alternative

I like planes. IF is cool. Interests together in one = spending all my time on it.

All of the above, and the wide range aircrafts and liveries that keep coming up.

I like the exterior quality, region size and the ability to take it around 🙂

I like the detail yet simplicity, portability, the IFC…oh and global is pretty cool I guess 😏

The attention to detail and variety of aircraft types available.

I like it because of the interactive aspect of it…the ATC. THAT AND the
other aircraft lend a sense of realism to the sim that i can’t get with the
others.

I used a lot RORTOS simulators for mobile (they have global flight and interactive panels) and x plane 10 for the interactive cockpits, but this is the best because there are lots of aircrafts perfectly reproduced with a stunning resolution, multiplayer with ATC, lots of liveries and enormous regions. The phisics are more realistic, especially for landings and climb then the others and because it continues to get better

For me its a combination of the realism and the community. Ive played x plane 10 which has some great graphics (until you zoom in lol) and 3d buildings…its a great game dont get me wrong but it feels like just that- a game…it gets lonely very quick. I also like that infinite flight has the control panel at the bottom on a toolbar.i originally liked x plane 10’s working cockpit but realized it was far too easy to accidently flip a switch or hit a button when trying to look around. IF wins hands down
