Why did this happen?

I was flying on expert and then my iPad died and I came back an it said I got ghosted

When did the IPad die, was it when you were close to the region end border?

It is possible that even though your iPad died, your aircraft didn’t disappear and instead flew out of region.

The controller may have ghosted you as a favor (if you attempt an out of region flight, all of your XP will be removed)

Hope this helps even though it probably won’t!

Hmmm… maybe because when your IPad died Approach was giving you vectors to Birmingham but since your iPad was dead you couldn’t acknowledge to the instructions given resulting in a ghost.
