Why is it that you can change the cloud cover/altitude but no other form of weather condition whilst flying on the Live Server?

because if you change the weather you could change how fast your plane is going

But you can’t change visibility or anything, which doesn’t affect speed.
It’s because the weather system we have, is based on real life data, so you can’t alter winds or visibility. Clouds are not a part of this data, and it’s a visual aspect, rather than something affecting your flight.
Winds and visibility all influences your flight, such as speed, need for ILS approach etc. which is why these can’t be changed. Clouds have no impact, thus allowing you to set the clouds you’d like. :)

It won’t be fair or fun if you can alter your visibility on a live server. Call me weird for this but hope for thick fog or harsh weather on departure or arrival so I can use my skills and just have fun controlling the plane in bad weather.

When i fly into airports and my screen is completely white to the point i cant see anything, Is just annoying to me i like to see the scenery and airport im landing into
Because the clouds rn as visual and shouldn’t have any effect on weather or your flight
