Google plus is basically gmail.

Then make a gmail, no biggie.

I forgot my password but when I try to get it back it gives me a dumb survey that I can’t close out of when I have to do something

I do think there is more to it thou , maybe FDS are gathering information on their target audience and general Interests among users…

Then I guess you don’t want IF live then? That’s the only way you can use live is either with Google or Facebook. They do that because it stores your account info.
