Can anyone please tell me who Thomas Cook was and what he did please, I’ve never heard of him

thomas cook was the person who first came up with the idea of tourism. he founded the world’s first travel agency and planned worldwide tours. that was over 150 years ago, and since then, his company has grown to what it is today—and it’s gone.
