I insist on touching the outside of the plane before boarding. I tried the same with the flight crew, they donât appreciate it too much.

I do it all the time when I board an aircarft, I touch the one world logo (I fly Qantas a lot) (I dot fly much anymoređ)

I touch the plane before I board. It has become a habit and I like touching the plane I will be on for the flight.
