As we come to a close on 2024, I wanted to create (with inspiration from @Magician) a space for community members to share their thanks and gratitude to other pilots and controllers who assisted you in any way: whether that be a joke, an explanation, or a long-haul flight.
2024 has been a long year, but we all got through it and I’m grateful for the camaraderie in this community! I’m wishing everyone a warm and pleasant winter, whether you celebrate a holiday this month or are enjoying some downtime. Let’s make this a positive end to the year! Onwards to…
I’m grateful for the incredible success and advancement the simulator has had this year, work on the graphics engine, project metal, a giant new whale, exploration of custom sounds, and so much more. As for the ifc I’m grateful that after two years of coming on here almost every day, I was promoted to TL3… along with some of my friends… which brings me to this: I’ve made many good friends this year, including those in the infamous gc by @MAviationYT. Thanks @Mort@Waxyscorpion308@Jger@whyevenbothernaming@adam_2tuff, and you! I’ve also had great success with improvements on my hurricane hunters va, outstanding help from @Txweather@whyevenbothernaming@Aviation_Alex and @pencil_GOD . Truly couldn’t have set it all up without them, they are HUGE help. Nice topic bud :)
And not to forget, I’m in IFATC thanks to my wonderful trainer @Cooper!! As well as my recruiter @Kaj
Wow nice thread @Delta174J. There’s a lot of like to say. I am very thankful for a lot of people here. I want to start off by saying how thankful I am for @Oklahoma1. I remember a day when I was brand new and I didn’t know how things here worked. He is a great event creater and has explained to me how things here work and he’s gotten me really comfortable here. I follow his events whenever I make mine.
