From Auckland, White Cloud Virtual offers flights to over 20 domestic cities and 28 international destinations, spread out over 17 countries. To better connect Auckland to smaller cities around the globe, we have partnered with other VAs to even better connect the world.

For a full view of our routes, click the link below.

Routes

For a list of our favorite routes, here they are!

Routes

In our route database we have all types of routes. Chill routes, routes with beautiful scenery, challenging approaches, and more! Here are a few of my all time favorites!

NZ603 - Wellington to Queenstown - This is a fun flight all around! With a fun departure and a challenging approach, there’s excitement at every corner! To complete the package, you’ll be able to fly the WCVA livery on the A320! Have fun!

NZ1075 - Auckland to Seoul - A good ole long haul for the win! From one 3D airport to the next, this flight is sure to impress. Make sure to butter the landing!

NZ34 - Auckland to Papeete - Want to see some beautiful scenery? If so, take this just under 5 hour flight over to Faa’a International. From our home base in Auckland take the 787 on a journey to paradise.

To complete our route database, White Cloud Virtual offers codeshare flights to and from all over the world. We have partnered with many different codeshare airlines in order to bring you the best experience. As of right now, we have 4 codeshare airlines, but this is number is growing rapidly! With these codeshares, you’ll be flying all over the world. One day you might be flying passengers between Auckland and Christchurch and the next you're heading to Mexico City on a 737! We hope that all of our codeshare partners will bring new enjoyment and excitement as you fly all over the world.

For those pilots who want a little bit more realism in experience as a White Cloud Virtual pilot, we have something for you. We are so very proud to present the WCVA career mode!

In addition to our regular flying mode, we offer a more structured and rigorous fly mode. In career mode, pilots will start as a cadet who is just starting their flying journey. All of our pilots will start on a general aviation aircraft, and then will work their way up to commercial airline pilot or a private pilot. We really believe everyone will absolutely love our Career Mode! Read below to learn more.

Starting Out

All of our pilots will start with 0 hours on the Cessna 172, TMB, SR22, or the X-Cub. First, we will teach you the basics of flying and the systems on the GA aircraft you chose, then we will allow you to fly. Our instructors will walk you through the taxi, takeoff, pattern, and landing in your preferred aircraft. Once that is completed, you’ll be able to fly on your own. All of your flights will start from a local New Zealand airport. You will takeoff from the airport, land at another, and eventually make your way back to where you started. You will get to choose your own routes. Once pilots have reached 25 hours, they will take a test that will help us determine if they’re ready to move on to the next level. If you pass this test, you will be allowed to choose the Private Sector or Commercial Sector.

Commercial Sector

If you choose to go into the commercial pilot sector, you’ll start on the Dash 8 Q-400. At first, you will be trained on the aircrafts systems and how to fly it. Once you’ve been trained, you’ll be given set routes to fly, just like an airline pilot. You will be based out of Auckland, NZ, flying White Cloud Virtual routes. Once you reach 75 hours, you would be administered another test, this time based off of the Dash 8 Q-400. If you pass this test, you be promoted to the rank of Captain. Here, you will work towards 650 hours. The list of the aircraft is as follows.

Dash 8 Q-400 - 0-75 Hours
Airbus A320/Airbus A321 - 75-200 Hours
B777-200/B777-300 - 200-400 Hours
B787-9 400-650 Hours

When you first start on the aircraft, you will be trained, then given routes. Once you reach the required hours, you will be given a test. The required hours will be different for each pilot, depending on skill level. If you pass the test, you will be allowed to move to captain. Once you reach the next required amount of hours, you will be given another test and then move to the next aircraft. Each rank will have assigned routes.

Private Sector

If you choose the private sector, you will start on the C750. Just like the commercial sector, you’ll be trained on the aircraft and given set routes to fly. The routes that you were assigned will not be in a White Cloud Virtual database. For each aircraft, you will start as a First Officer and move to Captain. From the C750, you will move to the A318, then to the B739, then to the B752. This is where you start to choose the outcome of your career. From the B757-200, you can move to the B772(LR/ER) or the A339. Whichever aircraft manufacturer you choose will be the one you stick with for the rest of your career. If you choose the A339, you will then go to the A359, where you will end your career. If you choose the B772, you will go to the B748. Similar to the commercial sector, each aircraft will have a First Officer Position and then a Captain position. Unlike the commercial section, there is not a test to move to Captain. However, there is a test from Captain to the next aircraft. After you complete the Captain portion, you will take the aircrafts test and move to another aircraft. Each of the required hours will be different based on your skill level and desire to move up. If you do not want to move aircraft, you can choose to stay on your preferred aircraft.

Here is a list of the aircraft (in order):

C750
A318
B739
B752
B772 (LR/ER) or the A339
A339 to the A359
B772 to the B748

If you would like to join Career Mode, please first apply for the main VA. Once you are in the VA, you can apply for Career Mode.

Its great to see an ANZ based VA get off to a start. Good job finding two suitable words for the name 😉.

With 3 nice 3D airports in New Zealand already, they make great bases for pilots to start with, and there’s many more to come. Once we get Wellington and Christchurch then much of the domestic network will be covered.

It will be fantastic to see, and be part of, this New Zealand based VA’s development!

Thank you so much! We are very grateful to already have Auckland, Queenstown, and Dunedin 3D! We can’t wait to see where the future takes us, as well as Infinite Flight. We’re glad you like the name.

White Cloud Virtual | Update

Good morning, afternoon, or evening to everyone! Today, we have decided to update White Cloud Virtual’s rank requirements. It has recently come to my attention that the hours required for our Second Officer position were a little high.

At new hire rank, pilots can fly short haul aircraft including the E-Jets, CRJs, the C208 and the DH8D. These aircraft all fly very short routes, so it might would take a pilot a long while to reach 50 hours. However, we have not changed any other rank requirements. Once a pilot unlocks the 737 and Airbus family, they can fly much longer flights, so I believe it will be easier for pilots to gain more hours, quicker.

We hope our pilots will enjoy this change to our ranking system. Thank you and good day.

White Cloud Virtual | Update

Hello again! I’m back with what another of what seems to be like weekly updates. A couple of updates for everyone today.

First off, I am pleased to announce that @Chet_Lewis is now officially on our staff team! Chet has been a huge part in advising me on many decisions and helping to make White Cloud Virtual what it is today. Chet will be coming on as our Chief Pilot Officer. He will oversee our training department and our Chief Pilot Manager and our Training Director, when those spots are filled. Welcome to the staff team, Chet!

If you are interested in joining our staff team, apply using the link above!

Secondly, we have made many new update to our ranks and our rewards a, after reaching commander. We have added the Air New Zealand B767-300 and the Air New Zealand B787-10 to our fleet. Both of these aircraft will be made available after Commander, with our Kiwi Rewards Program! The B787-10 will be the flagship of Air New Zealand’s fleet when they are received. With this new aircraft, Air New Zealand will offer more routes from Auckland, better connecting the globe. We are excited for this day to come. Before we have scheduled routes with the B787-10, we wanted to implement it into White Cloud Virtual. This is where Kiwi Gold comes in. Kiwi Gold is currently the highest rank we offer, at 1000 hours. We are still deciding exactly how we want to use the B78X, but we know it will be put to good use.

In light of a recent discussion, the WCVA staff team has decided that the first 20 pilots who apply to us will start at White Cloud Virtual at the Second Officer rank. We are wanting to promote our VA more, so we thought what’s a better way to do it than to stick our pilots right in front of the action. We are hoping that with all these changes to our ranks that we will interest more pilots and provide a better experience.

Lots of more news today and more on the way! We hope you enjoy all of these changes and updates. Thank you so much and have a great rest of your day.

Let me tell you guys this, and I genuinely mean it, I’m not just trying to boost a VA’s thread

This is genuinely one of the coolest VAs I am apart of. The scenery of oceana and Mew Zealand is unbeatable. They have great systems here to rank up, such as income systems and purchasable items from their variety of bonuses and cool things.

I highly recommend you guys to join!
