I’m excited to introduce a simple but powerful web tool I’ve built for the VO community:
VO Leaderboard – a real-time leaderboard that ranks Virtual Organizations (VOs) based on their current activity in Infinite Flight.
What is VO Leaderboard?
VO Leaderboard automatically tracks all active flights across Infinite Flight servers and organizes them by Virtual Organization. It calculates a custom score for each VO based on two key metrics:
Flights: Total number of active flights
Pilots: Number of unique pilots flying under that VO
The scoring formula is:
VO Score = (Flights × 2) + (Pilots × 3)
This gives a balanced view of both flight volume and pilot engagement.
I’m curious: how do you track what pilot is in what VO? Because I’m in a few, and I know many others are in multiple, but we don’t always fly for the VO. For instance, I have GAF tagged for me, but I don’t change it when I fly for other VAs
Everyone’s wondering about “Unknown VO” — like it’s some secret elite squad flying under the radar.
But nope — it just means the pilot didn’t include a VO tag in their flight data.
Maybe they forgot, maybe they’re flying solo, or maybe… they just like being mysterious.
So if you see “Unknown” topping the charts, it’s not a hidden VO — it’s just a bunch of pilots flying without a label.
Think of it as the “freelancer” category of the skies
