Which planes have you mastered landings on?

Hey, guys!

I would like to know which planes you can easily butter the landings in!

For me, it’s A320, 737-700, Q400, CRJ-200, and all GA planes (including the XCub!)

I would like to be able to butter the B739, but I always float!

What are yours?

Definitely the B789, 777-200ER, A330-300 and the A320-200.
I have slight troubles landing the A380 and the 737-900.

Yeah, I agree with you on the 739.

I love the 739, but I have to work on buttering it.

I’m good with the 737’s; I’ve been landing them for years since IF came out with the them. Buttering just requires a lot of power. I have trouble buttering A321’s; I have a lot of trouble landing the B717.

I have mastered almost all the commercial planes, but have trouble with some GAs such as the Xcub or the cessna 172. I also struggle with the 717 and q-800.

The XCub will take a lot of practice. You’ll get there. We believe in you.

My strong suits are the B737-700, B737-800, B787-9, B777-200er, and A330-300. My not-so-strong suits are the B717, Q400, B757, and a321. GA aircraft I can butter, but haven’t practiced enough to get is consistent

I agree with you on the 717 and A321. I’ve never tried the 757 before, but I’ve heard the physics are off 🤔

A319, A320, 738, 739, A333, 788, TBM, Citation

Those are the easiest for me to land. I did a -23 landing in the 788 once :)

Thanks! But I gotta say that I’ve only flown the Xcub once, so I don’t have much experience.

Wow! -23! Impressive.

It took a lot of constant flying the XCub for me to not wag on takeoff.

When landing the Cub, set your tailwheel down as soon as possible, but don’t slam it of course. Setting it down quickly will give you more control while on the runway.

Thanks for the tip! Im coming back on IF to practice with the Xcub.

i find the 737s and a320s to be the easiest, i rather have a problem with 777s and 787s lol

Same!

Although, I haven’t flown the 777s or 787s (I don’t have Pro, or I would fly them!)

the first time flying the XCUB the first thing i had in mind is not to drift off the runway lol i learned from other GA aircrafts although i still drift on the runway but not off the runway lol

The key to landing the XCub without drifting is to set the tailwhell down as soon as possible, but don’t slam it. When you set the tailwheel down, it will give you more control on the runway.

Deffenetly the Cessna 208 Carvan!
It´s just so lovley to fly!"
