Which airports are currently the busiest with active ATC and high traffic?

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to plan my next flight and I really want to experience some high workload and busy skies.

Which airports are currently the most crowded with players and have active IFATC (Ground/Tower/Approach) online right now?

Also, besides checking the daily ATC Schedule, what are your favorite “go-to” airports where you almost always find good traffic and active controllers?

Check the ATC schedule and the servers in game.

Also, EGLL and KLAX typically have good traffic.

Right now I’m cruising with 777-300ER

From VTBS - KBOS that’s called in aviation (GREAT CIRCLE) 7300Nm ULH

Note: P.S. (Quick funny story):
Right after posting my previous message, I actually found a busy airport at VTBS (Bangkok). Long story short—as traffic started building up, I made a rookie mistake on the Expert Server! :skull:

After getting my “Cleared for takeoff” from the Tower, I lined up and sent another message asking for departure direction. The controller immediately hit me with the classic “Please check help pages” instruction!

Lesson learned the hard way: once you get that takeoff clearance, just punch the TO/GA, get rolling, and keep the frequency clear. A good reminder for me to stay sharp as the skies get crowded! :airplane::sweat_smile:
