Where to fly the A330-800neo in Infinite Flight

Blog article by Dan Woodhams

The A330-800neo is now available in Infinite Flight, but where should you fly it?

This aircraft is pretty unusual because not many of them actually exist, and as a result, there aren’t many airlines operating this widebody around the world. In this blog article, we cover all the real-world routes you can fly with the A330-800neo. Although there aren’t many operators, there’s still a nice selection of routes to try!

Nice article as always! The A338 might become my aircraft for long haul charter operations since it has a pretty good range. Gonna push this thing to its limits!

Pretty cool (I’ll be flying it!).

As far as why it exists, anyone disagree with?:

A “shrink,” such as the A330‑800neo, is an oligopoly‑strategy weapon (a monopoly spoiler).
It exists to block exclusivity, cap monopoly pricing, and limit a competitor’s economic dominance in a niche.

It does not need to sell well; it only needs to exist.
In this case, it specifically targets Boeing’s exclusive hold on the small long‑range widebody niche dominated by the 787‑8.

The Air Greenland A330-800 will be flying to Keflavik this summer due to higher demand. So technically 2

Doesn’t matter anyway, not much realism in IF nowadays sadly.

Would you consider a former route that’s not operated anymore unrealistic?

Completely irrelevant to what I said. Look at flights on IF and it’s obvious to tell how unrealistic people are. Nothing to do with former routes.

Just asking cause some people only want us all to do real world routes on the expert server
