I’ve noticed many people take off from the very start of the runway, but I have also noticed people taking off from the start of the white piano keys, where do you actually takeoff from?

Ive seen a cessna citation take off more that half way down the runway
One time I was landing at San Clemente and I was about 15 seconds from touchdown when a plane traveled halfway up the runway. I barely stopped before I crashed into him but community says I made a big mistake in finishing my landing but imagine if I was closer. The plane was clogging up the runway and when I went through him he started to take off and successfully went airborne. I have my own post for this topic. He was lucky I don’t like to follow idiots like him.
You aren’t supposed to start your takeoff from before the piano keys, that area is usually for taxiing only.
I usually take off from the very end of the runway.
I take off from where I want. Usually that means the beginning of the runway but, if I’m in an F-22 I don’t really feel like going all the way down to runway 27 at KSAN or EGLC.
When not live sometimes I don’t even use a runway :DDD
Sounds like London City to me :D
I meant KSAN but I guess both work
