Where Do You Guys Spot in NYC?

Hey, I’m a 16 year old named Don, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. Does anybody know what airport/terminal I can go to so I can spot some planes? I usually take the B15 to JFK and just take the AirTrain all around the terminals looking at parked aircraft, but that’s pretty much it. I’ve seen some aircraft fly over the Lefferts Boulevard Station at JFK, but they were mostly Delta’s and jetBlues. Any reccomendations? I’m getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again, and not seeing anything appealing. Also, I’d like to know if there’s anywhere I can go to see some planes at LGA, because they don’t have an AirTrain. Thanks!

Try the top of the Terminal 1 parking garage. It’s my favorite spot, but only can be used when 31L/31R aee in use, and you can only see aircraft taking off. But, then again, aircraft always fly over my house on left downwind for 22L :)
