For me, it’s right below the aircraft section on the right hand side of the screen.

In addition to what the others have said above, changing the callsign is now only available when NOT in flight mode, and while Multiplayer mode is selected on the start screen.

We’re sorry you feel that way, but the developers deemed it a necessary change in order to continue further development.

Why would you even need to change your callsign mid flight? I personally fail to see the purpose.

In case I was flying for a VA and forgot to change it, I could switch quickly mid flight!

Not mid flight, but when doing setup and flight plan etc. it’s just a muscle memory thing so now I’m gonna have to train the brain to not forget.

I’ll manage but a seemingly unnecessary change.

Fair points.

Not really. As you can see, the account management settings have been moved now. I understand your points, I do. But re-engineering how certain things work because of muscle memory and forgetting (we all do, no shame) isn’t really how to do things either :)

Certain things have to change sometimes and you have to retrain your brain :)

Hey mate, so me personally. I change the ‘heavy’ or ‘super’ whenever I leave or go into the US. If I’m not mistaken, the suffix aren’t used anywhere else. So for example, I just took off from a US airport in a 772. I’ll have ‘heavy’ at the end of the callsign, but once I’m out of the US, I remove it in flight.

I like playing IF as realistic as I can, and what I’ll do is look up real flights and flight plans to mimic for the day, and once I land at an airport I’ll switch my call sign to my next flight before departing for the next airport. With the call signs being removed from in game I’m now forced to leave my present flight, change and start a new flight, ruining my stats.

If, like OP said, you prepare a whole flight plan and everything only to notice you’re still using the callsign from your last flight. It happens pretty often. It used to be easy to just go and change it when that happened :(

To touch on that, what I mean is I want to be able to have more landings on one online flight without touch and goes.
