When Taxiing Goes Wrong

It’s a beautiful day for flying at Naples Municipal Airport (KAPF). The student pilot advised she was trying to avoid another aircraft on the ground when she lost control and struck a hangar. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident. The Cessna 152 will also live to fly another day. This clearly shows what can happen when you lose focus, even for a few seconds. Remember, safe aircraft operation on the ground is just as important as when in the air.

Everyday, we see millions of these crashes in IF :) think as if it was real, it would be a big chaos.

This happens too often I think. It just comes to show how attention is just that important on the ground too. Glad to hear everyone is fine.

It’s not as bad as LAX TS taxiing…

It didn’t happen to me. I responded to the incident and wrote a report.

If it is real, no one would fly.

This is unfortunate. Glad she is okay. Her future going fwd in the professional aviation will be explaining this at every interview and even if she will get an interview. Sad.

That might be a reason for IF not to add 3D building, everyone would crash to avoid other planes as well fasten up the taxi times between the apron and runway 🙄😉

So basically:

"cessna152.exe stopped wor–

hangar.exe 402 error."
