From what is understand this is what the Autopilot is supposed to do. When we set the heading on the aircraft it will turn the plane until the plane is facing that heading.

From what I understood the wings start rocking left and right? This is most likely due to your too high angle of attack. This happens when you’re heavy and your altitude or climb rate is too high.
This once happened to me on the a380, but I was climbing too fast and my plane was heavy, so i’m pretty sure that’s what’s happening.

From what it sounds like, you may be close to a stall, if your speed is too low. If not, the aforementioned high angle of attack and altitude for the weight would be the answer.

The 747s in IF have outdated physics, when in cruise, it is preferable to fly with a Flaps 10 setting to maintain a realistic (and safe) angle of attack.
On another hand the A380 has much more modern physics meaning that you might be flying the aircraft too high for its weight.

Hi, It would help narrow down the issue if you could possibly upload a screen shot of the HUD view just as the problem occurs.
I did try a brief experiment with the 747-400:
I went to FL400, started at mach 0.84 and then dialled the load, once for MLW and once for MTOW.
And then I put in heading changes to see how the turns responded.
MLW: At such a high altitude MLW makes the AoA high, but somehow the turns were all quite stable.
MTOW. That’s way too high a weight for that altitude of course, and I couldn’t maintain airspeed with such a load in the thin air.
But before I ran out of airspeed as it bled off, turns were still in pretty good control (though bank oscillations started to appear.)
A screen shot would certainly increase the odds of diagnosing the problem.
When I’m climbing to 40,000 feet from 35,000 feet around max aircraft speed
Around 10° Around 360 Knots climbing to 45,000 feet from 35,000 feet
Sounds like you’re too heavy for that specific altitude
Stay below FL370 in the 747s. A380 is more weight dependent but you should ideally be extremely light to climb to 390 or above. 450 is way too high.

IDK If that chart is correct because I can cruise at forty five thousand feet in the 777 without any issues

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should ;)
Flying this high probably means that you’re going slower than at lower, more reasonable altitudes, and burning a higher amount of fuel to maintain a certain speed.
IF 748 also saves fuel with its flaps out so I’m not sure IRL is a good comparison point
777 has excess power. These planes don’t.

I would never fly with any flaps at cruise in IF with reference to irl.
It wouldn’t be if one doesn’t mind flying with flaps at cruise.
No I know, what I’m getting that is that consulting IRL references for certain IF planes is apples to oranges because the physics model is so off.
