Water rendering is something we haven’t had time to include in this update. In this update, water color will be uniform in the ocean but will be more natural close to the shores (since it comes from satellite imagery). It is not animated or have any specular effect (sun being reflected on the water surface) at the moment but we will also improve this in the future.
There is a lot of things that are much better with this update, but a couple other things might temporarily feel like a step back; those are hard choice we had to make.
