When are daily stats logged/drop off(exactly)

Hopefully the right category. Please plonk in to the correct place if not :folded_hands:t2:

Just to clarify, when do hours/landings actually get counted/drop off per 24 hours? Anyone have a clue?

Edit: I’m most interested in how this is recorded if the session is NOT ended. For example I take off and land at the end of the day, stay parked, then take off and land into the next day.

Is it:

  1. landings & hours counted as they happen per 24 hours
  2. landings & hours accrued within the 24hr period is counted at the end of the day.

The old log book would separate each period even if it was during a flight(it would log 2 entries if flown over the daily reset)

Nope, as soon as you leave your flight, the hours, landings, etc. are immediately put in. However for ATC operations, those come after a little bit.

Thanks I thought so. I more interested in regards to a session I don’t end.

For example, if I land at night and then take off and land into the next day, how does this count?
